This Privacy Policy explains how Trainlike Studios Inc. ("Trainlike Studios," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

1.1. Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, password, and related account details.
• Payment Information: Processed securely by Apple through App Store in-app purchases. We do not store or have access to your payment details.
• Training Data: Information you create within the Service (e.g., workouts, sets, routines, programs, body measurements, and notes). Your workout log is stored on your device and syncs through your personal iCloud account.
• Progress Photos: Photos you take within the app are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers and do not sync to iCloud. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it.
• Apple Health: If you enable the integration, the app writes workout data (e.g., workouts, active energy, bodyweight) to Apple Health with your permission. We do not read or collect your Apple Health data on our servers.
• Communications: Messages or inquiries sent to us, such as support requests or feedback.
• Creator Tools: The sticker tools on our website run entirely in your browser. What you build, including any photo you add, is drawn on your device and never sent to or stored by us. Nothing is kept between visits.

1.2. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Interactions with the Service (e.g., logins, feature use, time spent).
• Device and Technical Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and similar analytics.
• Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions and improve user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service,
• Authenticate and manage accounts,
• Generate workout insights, grades, and training analysis from your logged training data. This processing is performed by our servers and our service provider Anthropic, whose API generates the insights, solely to produce them for you. Neither we nor Anthropic use your data to train machine learning models,
• Communicate with you about updates, security, or support,
• Process payments and manage subscriptions, and
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate (e.g., hosting, billing, email delivery). These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing (e.g., when sharing a routine, program, or workout card).

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service,
• Comply with our legal obligations,
• Resolve disputes, and
• Enforce our agreements.

When your account is closed, your data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time, except where retention is legally required.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access or disclosure.

However, no system or transmission method is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. International Data Transfers

Although Trainlike Studios is based in British Columbia, Canada, we may store or process data on servers located in other jurisdictions (such as the United States).

By using the Service, you consent to this transfer, understanding that privacy laws may differ from those in your province or country.

7. Your Rights

Under BC PIPA and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you,
• Request corrections to inaccurate information,
• Withdraw consent (subject to contractual or legal limitations), and
• File a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies and Analytics

• We use cookies and analytics tools to improve the Service.
• You may control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
• Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the Service.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice, email, or website update.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
