Progress and records
Volume and recovery
Sets per muscle, what is ready to train, and muscle balance.
Trainlike reads your week the way a good training partner would: how much you did, where it went, and what is ready to go again. The volume and balance cards live under Progress → Training (reorder them to taste); recovery greets you right on the Train tab.
This week
Workouts against your weekly target, the week’s volume, records, and time under the bar, day by day. The quick pulse check.
Training volume
Working sets per muscle this week, drawn against the shaded 10 to 20 weekly sets where growth typically happens, with last week’s mark for comparison: chest comfortably in the band, hamstrings quietly under it. Warm-ups do not count, and a muscle worked as a secondary (biceps during rows) earns half a set. Volume is the first place to look when a muscle will not grow.
Recovery
The RECOVERY strip at the top of the Train tab reads per-muscle freshness from the sets you logged over the last month: LIKELY READY or STILL RECOVERING, with a rough time (“6-12h”, “1-2d”). Tap it for the full estimate. Walking in without a plan? Train what reads ready.
Muscle balance
The longer view: each muscle group’s share of your working sets. Tap the card for the full breakdown by week, month, three months, or year, with the previous period overlaid. Push outrunning legs for a month is invisible day to day and obvious here.
None of this is a scold
A muscle below the growth band or a long recovery time is information, not a failure state. The cards point, you decide.
