Progress and records
Personal records
PR badges, the record math, and the receipt behind each one.
Trainlike tracks records per exercise, catches them the moment they happen, and, this is the part that matters, shows the receipt behind every one.
What counts as a record
Each exercise tracks the records that fit how it is measured (a pure bodyweight lift, for instance, only races Most Reps):
- Heaviest Weight: most weight on the bar.
- Heaviest 1RM: best estimated one-rep max; heavy triples can set it without you ever testing a singles day. The estimation formula is yours to pick in Settings, Hybrid by default.
- Most Reps, Reps at Weight (your rep record at one specific weight), and Best Set Volume.
- Longest Duration and Longest Distance for timed and distance work.
The receipt
Tap any PR badge, on the finish screen, in history, or on the exercise page, and Trainlike shows its math: “135 × 10 → est. 180 lbs”, which previous best it beat, and an honest note that an estimated max is an estimate, not a tested single. Mid-workout, the trophy on the set row lists the records it just took.
Where records live
A trophy alert fires live when you set one, the finish screen collects the day’s records, and each exercise detail page keeps the full record board for that lift.
Warm-ups and records
By default, warm-up sets do not set records. If you want them counted, flip Include Warmup Sets in Settings.
