The watch app
Full workouts from your wrist, synced back to your phone.
The Trainlike watch app logs complete workouts from your wrist, phone in the locker. It is a real logger, not a remote control.
On the watch
- Your routines, synced from the phone, plus Quick Start for an improvised workout.
- Log weight and reps per set, add or delete sets and exercises mid-workout, and mark set types. Bodyweight, assisted, duration, and distance exercises all get the right inputs.
- Every set starts from real numbers: your prefilled targets and last session’s line (“Last: 135 lb × 8”) come with you to the wrist.
- The rest timer runs on the watch with a tap on the wrist and a chime, plus −15s, +15s, and Skip.
- Workouts run as real Apple health sessions, with live heart rate and calories on screen. They survive the app closing mid-session, and if you wander off with a workout still running, the watch checks in on you.
Back to the phone
Finished watch workouts sync to your iPhone and join your history, records, charts, and Strength Score like any other workout, and they move your next targets forward too. If the phone is out of range, the workout waits and syncs when they reconnect.
Complications
Add Trainlike to your watch face for one-tap launch, or the Rest Timer complication to keep the countdown a glance away.
The watch shares your phone’s workout allowance: on the free tier, the three free workouts count wherever you log them, and once they are used the watch locks too. Subscribing happens on the phone. See Free workouts and Pro.
