Logging workouts
Log your sets
Weight, reps, set types, and completing sets.
Each exercise is a card of set rows: the set number, what you did last time, and fields for today. Enter the weight and reps, then tap the checkmark. That is a logged set. The rest timer starts on its own.
Your numbers are usually already there
With prefill on, today’s weight and reps arrive filled in, either your last performance or a verdict like +5 LBS. Type over anything you want to change. A rep range prints right under the REPS column so you know what to aim inside, and a lift you have never logged carries a FIRST TIME · HOW TO START chip with a starting weight and cues.
Set types
Tap a set’s number badge to mark what kind of set it was:
- Warmup: lighter ramp sets, kept out of your working numbers by default.
- AMRAP: as many clean reps as possible.
- Dropset: weight stripped, straight into more reps.
- Normal: the way back, if you tagged the wrong set.
Not everything is weight and reps
Exercises track the fields that fit them: bodyweight and assisted exercises, timed holds with duration, and distance work like carries or runs. The set row adapts on its own.
Notes
Add a note to the whole workout or to a single exercise: cues, seat settings, how it felt. Notes also feed your Workout Insights, so an honest “lower back was tight” is worth writing down.
Records happen live
Beat a personal record mid-workout and Trainlike says so on the spot, trophy and all. The receipt behind it lives in Personal records.
