Grades and insights
Workout Insights
The grade, the evidence behind it, and what to change next.
Finish a workout and the question that matters is not “did I sweat?”, it is “was that good, and what do I change?” Workout Insights answers it with a grade, the evidence behind it, and targets for next time.
Generate it
Tap Workout insights on the finish screen; your latest report also fronts the Insights tab, and any older workout has View Insights in History. Analysis runs on the server, so you can pocket the phone; a notification arrives when your report is ready. Your first four generations are free, and the first one runs itself; after that it is a Pro feature with a monthly allowance.
Reading your report
- The grade: a letter and a score out of 100, with a headline that says what defined the day.
- Four dimensions: Volume, Intensity, Progression, and Effort, each graded on its own where there is enough signal (no logged effort, no Effort grade), so you can see exactly where the score came from.
- Highlights: the sets and moments that stood out.
- NEXT SESSION: concrete targets for the one to three exercises where a change matters most, acceptable on the spot. Accepted targets become coach tips and wait for you in your next workout.
- Full Analysis: the complete written read, collapsed until you want it.
Feed it context
The analysis reads your training notes and workout notes. “Slept four hours” changes how a rough day should be graded; say so.
Edited the workout after grading it? The report says so with a banner, so a grade never quietly outlives the data under it. And every report is shareable as a Report Card.
