Coach tips
Accept a next-workout target and find it waiting for you.
The NEXT SESSION card in your Workout Insights (and in each Exercise Insights report) is not just reading material. Each target has an accept toggle, and accepting is how advice becomes a plan.
The loop, closed
- Train, then read your graded report.
- In the NEXT SESSION card, accept the targets you agree with. Skip the ones you do not; nothing is forced on you. (A target for a lift you have already trained since the report marks itself as passed.)
- Next time that exercise comes up, the accepted target is already in your fields, marked with a COACH TIP chip in place of the usual verdict.
- Do the workout. The tip is consumed, and the loop starts again.
The fine print, honestly
- A tip speaks once: it prescribes for one workout, then hands back to the regular progression.
- Advice that is not a number shows as a note on the exercise instead of filling fields.
- Tips never overrule numbers you wrote into the routine: on exercises where you authored the weights, your numbers stand and the tip passes. A newer accepted tip replaces an older one for the same lift.
- Sanity checks run first: a tip wildly off your last working weight is discarded rather than applied, and an unused tip quietly expires four weeks after the workout its report graded.
Tap the chip
Like verdicts, a COACH TIP chip opens its receipt: what was accepted, from which report, and what the progression engine would have suggested instead.
