How to do it
Bent over Row (Barbell), step by step
- 01
Stand holding a barbell with an overhand grip, hands just outside your knees.
- 02
Hinge forward at the hips until your torso is at roughly 45 degrees, back flat.
- 03
Let the bar hang at arm's length below your chest.
- 04
Pull it up to your lower ribs, leading with your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades.
- 05
Lower the bar slowly to straight arms, keeping your back flat rather than rounding.

Your next weight is already set.
Log this lift and Trainlike reads your sets against your best. Close out your rep range and the next workout opens with the weight moved up.
Come up short and it eases back by the real distance your sets showed, then climbs again as soon as you do. Every verdict opens the receipt: the number you had to beat and the sets that beat it.
