How to do it
Rack Pull (Barbell), step by step
- 01
Set the safety bars in a rack to about knee height and rest a loaded barbell on them.
- 02
Stand with your feet hip width apart and grip the bar just outside your legs.
- 03
Lift your chest, flatten your back and brace your stomach.
- 04
Drive your hips forward to stand tall, keeping the bar against your legs.
- 05
Lower the bar back to the pins with a flat back rather than dropping it.

Your next weight is already set.
Log this lift and Trainlike reads your sets against your best. Close out your rep range and the next workout opens with the weight moved up.
Come up short and it eases back by the real distance your sets showed, then climbs again as soon as you do. Every verdict opens the receipt: the number you had to beat and the sets that beat it.
