    Stand with your feet hip width apart, holding a barbell in front of your thighs.

  2. 02

    Keep your legs straight with the smallest bend in your knees.

  3. 03

    Hinge at your hips and lower the bar toward the floor, keeping it close to your legs.

  4. 04

    Go only as far as your hamstrings allow with a flat back.

  5. 05

    Squeeze your glutes and hamstrings to pull yourself back upright.
