Grades and insights
Progression Insights
The 30 or 90 day read: top movers, muscle balance, and optional audits.
Single workouts are noisy: a bad night’s sleep can sink a good week. Progression Insights zooms out to your last 30 or 90 days and reads the whole block, not one workout.
Unlocking it
It takes five workouts in 30 days to earn a read; the Insights tab counts you down. You can run it over the last 30 or 90 days. Progression Insights is a Pro feature with a monthly allowance.
What the read shows
- A grade for the block, letter and score, with its own four dimensions: Progress, Volume, Balance, and Consistency, plus stat chips comparing it to the block before.
- TOP MOVERS: the lifts that climbed the most, with numbers attached.
- MUSCLE BALANCE: where your working sets actually went, so a quietly skipped muscle group has nowhere to hide.
- MONTHLY FOCUS: the one thing most worth changing next.
Add an audit
Before you generate, you can turn on up to three optional audits. Each is a focused check the app runs over the window, then explains alongside the grade:
- Junk volume: lifts where you added sets but your strength did not move, and, when you log effort, sets that stopped well short of failure. A prompt to take a look, not proof a set was wasted.
- Intensity drift: lifts where the working weight quietly slid down while your sets and reps held steady, a sign you may be trading load for comfort.
- Structural balance: whether your pushing and pulling volume are in balance, and whether any muscle group is getting far fewer sets than the rest.
Each audit is careful by design. It only judges a lift you have trained enough to judge, and over a short window it tags a pattern EARLY SIGNAL rather than calling it firmly. The more you log, effort especially, the more it can say.
One word, three jobs
“Progression” appears in three places: this report, the Progression prefill mode that writes your in-workout targets, and the Progression dimension of each workout grade. Same idea, three altitudes: the block, the next set, the single workout.
